About me

I am a Maths Lecturer at Middlesbrough College and an examiner, with over 13 years of experience teaching GCSE Mathematics. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), QTLS status, a BSc in Applied Mathematics, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

I am passionate about helping students discover the enjoyment and satisfaction that comes from understanding mathematics. Throughout my teaching career, I have developed and refined a range of effective strategies to make maths engaging, accessible, and easier to understand for all learners.

Mathematics is a vital part of the school curriculum and an essential foundation for higher education and future career opportunities. With the knowledge and experience I have gained, I am committed to supporting students in building confidence, achieving academic success, and reaching their full potential.

As small-group tuition shows superior outcomes, I pair students with similar academic abilities and teach them in groups of two.

GCSE students will have free extra sessions on top of their usual classes, in larger groups of 3 to 4, to practice tests before the exam.

I have prepared more than  95000  pages of worksheets and practice papers, as well as my own handwritten notes on all : KS3 , KS4 , GCSE and AS topics. Also I have made more than  750  GCSE revision tests which cover all of the exam topics.
